    Departments: Each department includes various product types (e.g. books, software & courses) covering a specific topic. Departments can be entered with the tabs positioned at the top of the page.

    Product Type: Click on a product type located under the Department tabs, and browse through our list of categories and subcategories to find what you are looking for.

    Quick Search Facility: Located on the top left of each page, use the Quick Search across product types or select a specific product type from the drop box. You can enter a title, brand, author, ISBN or keyword to find what you are looking for.

    Advanced Search: The Advanced Search allows users to find a specific product over a number of fields. Just enter either one or multiple fields and press ‘Search’

    Search tips

    If a search results in zero matches, try one of the following:

  • Removing any punctuation marks. E.g. Long-term is different to Long term

  • Searching on a shorter selection E.g. Technical Analysis of Financial Markets, try only using Financial Markets.

  • Search on the Author's name, or the ISBN if you know it.


  • If a search results in too many matches, try one of the following:

  • Using the The Advanced Search to search over a number of fields

  • Enter a more specific word selection

    Moneybags is one of Australia's largest retailers of investment tools and educational products. If there are any titles or products you are unable to find on our web site, please contact us, and through our network of overseas and local suppliers we will do our best to find them for you.

    Ordering

    How to order

    Step 1: Find your product of interest

    Step 2: Use the ‘Add to cart’ button, which places the item in your Shopping Cart. If you would like to purchase more products just keep using the ‘add to cart’ function until you have finished shopping.

    Step 3: Once you have finished shopping, click on the ‘Checkout’ button positioned in the right hand column.

    Step 4: You will now see your shopping cart contents. Check to see the order contents are correct and make any necessary adjustments*. Now press 'Continue to checkout'.

    * To delete a product in your shopping cart - click on the remove link. To change quantity - enter the required number in the qty. box and click the 'Update cart' button.

    Payment options

    Delivery cost $6.95 per order (Australia only, see below for overseas)

    1. Pay secure online by credit card. This is the quickest and easiest option and 100% safe, read why. We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Bankcard, Diners & American Express).

    2. Phone/Fax/Mail through your credit card details and order number. Complete your order online and on the final payment page select the 'Offline Payment' option. This produces an order form and a corresponding order number that can be used to quote over the phone, or print your order and fax or mail to us.

    3.Pay by cheque or money order. Complete your order online and on the final payment page select the 'Offline Payment' option and send us your order form with a cheque or money order.

    4. Pay by EFT (orders over $500). Please contact us for details.

    5. Telephone. Please contact customer service on Freecall 1800 010 141.

    Shopping security

    At Moneybags, we take your security very seriously and believe it is important that you are able to shop in complete confidence.

    Our website uses 128bit SSL (secure socket layer) encryption technology to ensure transactions processed and personal details are 100% safe. We do not store or at any stage have access to your credit card information. Transactions are verified immediately by your bank and are either approved or declined (much like an EFTPOS transaction at the supermarket). For example, should you require a credit or partial credit from a purchase you would need to provide us with your credit card details again as we have no way to access this information. Only your delivery details are securely stored within our website for express checkout on subsequent orders.

    I get a Security Information Message

    You may get a Security Information message saying "This page contains both secure and non-secure items. Do you want to display the nonsecure items?" This is usually because we are carrying an advertisment on that particular page that is sourced from another server, rather than ours. It is quite OK to answer "No" to the question, to maintain full security. This will not affect your shopping, and will ensure the full 128 bit encryption is maintained

    I can't add to the Cart

    If you are having difficulty adding to the cart, firstly make sure that if you are ordering any Courses & Seminars, Data Products or Newsletters, you need to click on the down facing arrow at the right hand end of the box marked -select-



    Then click on your chosen product in the drop down list. Even if there is only one option on offer, this still needs to be done. Once you have selected your chosen option, you can then add that to the cart.



    If the above situation is not the case, and you cannot add to the cart, please see Internet Explorer 6 settings.

    Spyware prevention applications:
    Some programs which keep your system free of spyware and tracking cookies, do so by deleting cookies every time you leave a particular web page. Spy Sweeper is a good example.

    It is a good thing to be rid of tracking cookies; they are a pest, but as our site makes use of cookies to maintain the items in your shopping cart, the behaviour of these programs can cause products to be removed from your shopping cart as soon as you leave the product page to add something else to the cart.

    If you notice this happening, try temporarily turning the spyware monitor off, make your purchase, then re-enable the spyware monitor.

    What if I don't want to pay online?

    That's fine. Follow the same process as for online orders and on the last payment page select the 'Offline Payment' button. This produces an order form and a corresponding order number that can be used to quote over the phone, or print your order and fax or mail to us. Alternatively you can call customer service directly and place your order over the phone on free call 1800 010 141.

    Express checkout

    After the first time you shop with us, you can enjoy the benefits of our express checkout service. On subsequent orders you will only need to enter your email address and password - your delivery information has been kept securely on file from your first visit. The final part of the order process will only be to enter your payment information as we do not store credit card details. Why paying online is safe.

    What happens if I order an item not available?

    We stick by our policy of delivering your goods within 3 to 10 business days. Through keeping an inventory of best-selling and featured products and working closely with our suppliers, your order will be sent quickly and securely. If for any reason we can not deliver on this promise, we will advise you of the delay. In these instances you have the option to cancel your order for a full refund, or wait for delivery.

    Returns policy

    Returns on faulty or damaged goods: If any product is received in faulty, non-working or damaged condition we will exchange the item at no cost to the customer. Please email us with the order number that you were provided, so that we can arrange for the goods to be collected. All products, unless noted otherwise, are sold with the full warranty of the manufacturer.

    Returns on non-faulty goods: We believe all our products represent quality and value for money, should you be unhappy with any purchase made we will accept for return any unopened and/or unused goods. The customer is responsible for the return of the item in its as new condition.

    Procedure for return of goods

    Step 1: You must notify us of any returns within 10 business days of receiving your goods.
    Step 2: Contact us to receive your Returns Authorisation Number (RAN). No goods are to be returned prior to receiving a RAN.
    Step 3: Send goods to us via instructions provided.
    Step 4: Allow up to 14 days for replacement of goods.

This will save you 1/11th of the price of goods purchased (eg. $44 worth of books will cost you $40). This will in many case make your total order cheaper than for our Australian customers!     Delivery method

    We believe your order should be sent quickly, safely and without paying too much. For these reasons Australian orders are sent using an express courier or, if applicable, Australia Post, hence delivery charges are minimised. Goods can be sent to PO Boxes and non-receipted delivery options are provided in the checkout process.

    International Orders are normally despatched by Air Mail, or if available, Economy Air Mail.

    You will receive an Order Despatch Notification by email the day your goods are being shipped from our warehouse.

    Pricing policy

  • Prices only comparable to Australian retailers.

    Internet Explorer 6 Browser Settings

    Internet Explorer 6.0

    With the arrival of Internet Explorer 6, there has been increased emphasis on Internet Security. This has resulted in certain customers of Moneybags having difficulties updating or opening the Shopping Cart.

    The reason for this is the way that Internet Explorer 6 handles cookies. These are small files that are used by websites such as ours to keep track of what you put in the cart, and what your preferences are.

    If you are having difficulties with adding products to the shopping cart or viewing the shopping cart, please follow the procedure outlined below.

    First:

    Open Internet Explorer 6.0
    Select Tools > Internet Options from the menu.



    This will open the Internet Options dialog box.

    Next:

    · Click on the Privacy Tab.
    · Click on Edit



    Then:

    · In the Address of Website text box, type: moneybags.com.au
    · Click on Allow

    moneybags.com.au will appear in the Managed Web Sites area.

    Then click OK to close all the dialog boxes and return to Internet Explorer.



    This will allow cookies from Moneybags.com.au to be used to enable the functions of our on-line Investment Shop.

    If at any time you wish to disable the allowing of cookies from moneybags.com.au, follow the above procedure and remove moneybags.com.au from the Managed Web Sites window.

    How does Moneybags use cookies?

    Our site uses cookies in two ways.

    We never use tracking cookies, which some less reputable sites use to gather information on browsing habits; we would rather leave you in peace to browse where you want to browse, leaving us to process your order.
